Oh what fun!

Yesterday, Elliana and I spent the day with my mom (otherwise known as Nana). We had so much fun walking around the neighborhood, swimming, swinging and just overall laughing. Thanks for the fun Nana!

So Big!

Last week was Elliana's 4 month check up and we are pleased to report another great report at the doctor's! Elliana shot up in height to the 89% measuring 26" long. She is going to be tall just like T.J. & I! Although Elliana now weights in at 15 lbs, her triple chin is starting to disappear as she grows taller and leaner.

Currently Elli loves to blow raspberries(a trick taught by daddy) and can entertain herself for hours on end with this musical talent. Although she finishes her musical performance with a very wet face, we love to watch the excitement that she gets out of creating her own tune.

To say that we are blessed with Elliana as our daughter would be an understatement. Everyday she brings countless smiles and laughs to our faces and I cannot imagine my life without her in it.

My Family

T.J., Elliana & I just returned from a long weekend in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. As I look over the pictures from this past weekend (our first family vacation), I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my husband and daughter. I never knew that having a family would bring as much joy to my life as it has, and I am so very thankful that God chose me to be T.J.'s wife and Elliana's Mommy.

Each day brings with it new excitement and new adventures. Even when our life seems "slow" compared to days in our past...I wouldn't change a thing.

Four Great Months

Yesterday, May 3, Elliana celebrated her 4 month birthday. It is amazing to see how much she has changed in such a short time. This little girl provides so much joy to our lives. Anymore, she is a ball of energy and is always experimenting and trying to learn something new.

Between mimicking me and my silly noises and talking to her turtle friend (her favorite stuffed toy) you'd think she would wear out, but not Elliana. The more active she is, the more energy she seems to have.

We are quickly approaching our first vacation with her. It should be an interesting family adventure. I can't wait to begin showing her new parts of the world.
