Project Flashback - TJs Custom Quilt

This project was completed more than a year ago, as shown by the

little baby helper in the photos...but I never truly appreciated the

time and energy put into some of my projects until I look back on the

finished project.

Maya LOVED to tear apart the quilt

This was truly a project made of love. Scraps of fabric cut and

manipulated to make a giant cuddle blanket for my very tall husband

who had requested a blanket bigger than him. Well, until this point, I

had only made baby items. Blankets, clothes...you know, small things.

So...this was a very large overwhelming project to me. Like I said, I

am not very good at this sewing thing...I just enjoy it so I keep

trying.

Still not big enough!

Maya was a big helper during the assembly process and kept me working

late into the evenings to re-assemble and sew to have ready by

Christmas day.

FINISHED PROJECT!!!

It was definitely a project that was worth the work...though I've yet

to do another one just yet. Maybe someday soon :)
