On Christmas morning, our family unwrapped a gift that still has us all talking. An upcoming vacation to escape the wintry weather we experience all season long, a warm weather destination that we could fix our eyes on and look forward to. The ultimate vacation for this family....A DISNEY CRUISE!
In true Disney fashion, we began a countdown calendar I found
here and made a few modifications to tailor it to our family. The countdown calendar was printable with coloring pages revealed under the countdown window, which was perfect for Elliana, now truly exploring colors and coloring. A few of the images were "boyish" so I used scrapbook paper, stickers and adding special squares to reveal "Disney Movie Night" or "Disney Craft Day", both of which were a huge hit in our family!

As our countdown above indicates, our trip is quickly approaching and this Momma is so excited I can hardly sleep. Yesterday we finished our Disney Craft of the week, shown in the picture below, behind the incredibly excited 4-year old. Yes, we made yet another Rapunzel tower, this time out of toilet paper rolls, card stock and yarn. Disney's
website even provided templates and step by step directions which allowed us to constantly compare our progress as we went.

Who knows what will be in store for us as we continue to prepare for our upcoming vacation. But I know this Momma and children are already looking forward to it!
