Well, my awesome husband took us on a getaway! How wonderful is that?! We went to Brown County State Park in Indiana where we enjoyed the indoor water park, beautiful hiking, shopping and lots of family fun!
Maya loved the hike so much that she nestled up next to Daddy and fell asleep. :) this morning while loading the car to return home, Maya saw the hiking backpack and began to jump in my arms as she pointed and grunted with excitement. Guess we are raising another adventurer :)
Overall it was truly a delightful two night getaway! I'm sure I'll blog more later as in typing from the car ride home now, just too eager to wait until I download the photos from the camera.
Happy happy first birthday Maya! I hope you had as much fun on our getaway as i did.
